Huaifang Reclaimed Water Plant is the first all-underground reclaimed water plant in Beijing, and it is also the largest reclaimed water plant project in Asia where the main treatment process is all underground. The Huaifang Water Reclamation Plant project is located in the southwestern part of Beijing, adjacent to Majiapu West Road and Huaifang Road, with Nanhuan Railway on the north side and Tongjiu Road on the south side. The planned watershed starts from the eight major places of Xishan in the west, Zhanguan Road in the east, Changhe in the north, and Fengtai in the south, including some rural areas in Huaxiang, Lugouqiao Township, and Shijingshan Township. The drainage area is about 137 square kilometers.
